We are a fun and highly collaborative group that is passionate about our research. As we spend a lot of time together, we foster a friendly working environment. Our lab culture includes regular meetings with several other groups across the Department of Plant Sciences and interactions with colleagues from other departments, such as Geography and Zoology, as well as several social activities throughout the year.
If you are interested in joining us, please email Andrew Tanentzap (ajt65\\@//cam.ac.uk - remove the slashes) with a CV and a description of what you hope to get out of working with us, how your research interests are a good fit to our group, and how your past experiences make you suitable for the independent and often challenging nature of research. We can then initiate a discussion about potential funding sources if your application is likely to be a good fit.
The ideal group member will already have diverse research experience and be highly motivated – the type of person to be excited by the prospect of their next discovery! They should also be able to work well with others in collaborative team settings. Individuals with strong quantitative skills and a record of excellence in scientific publishing are especially encouraged to apply, as funding sources to study/work at Cambridge are highly competitive.
